The Mortazavi lab in the department of Developmental and Cell Biology at UCI is recruiting a junior specialist position for work on the functional genomics in human and mouse. Requirements include a bachelors in biology or biotechnology, experience with (a) tissue culture, (b) building RNA-seq and ATAC-seq libraries in mammals, and general ability to design as well as carry out experiments. Preference will be given to candidates with class work or research work in functional genomics as well as familiarity with sequencing platforms.
