A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Mei Kong in the Department of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry in the School of Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine. The Kong lab focuses on the crosstalk between metabolic microenvironment and epigenetic regulations in tumor development and immunotherapy. In addition, we are also interested in the study of phosphatase pathways in obesity, diabetes and cancer. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and a recent graduate with a PhD, MD/PhD or MD degree with strong academic training in cell biology, immunology, cancer, epigenetics/genetics, signaling or metabolic related diseases.
