Position description

The Department of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry is seeking to fill part-time Lecturer positions for the academic year 2024-2025. These individuals will serve a number of program priorities in our undergraduate degree programs.

Examples of opportunities to teach include the following areas:
• Biochemistry
• Molecular Biology
• Laboratory courses in Molecular Biology, Microbiology

The successful candidate will have an extensive academic background, previous teaching experience and an advanced degree (M.S., Ph.D.) contributing to the areas of need for this department.

Qualified candidates should submit a Cover Letter, Teaching Statement and a Curriculum Vitae that includes information describing previous employment, prior teaching experience, and the names of three references.

Salary range: A reasonable estimate for this position is $68,247-$192,040. See Lecturer (Unit 18) Salary Scale
