Hand in Hand Arm Wrestling Tournament and Fundraiser

Hand in Hand is an annual arm-wrestling tournament and fundraiser organized by Pi Kappa Alpha and Physicians for Human Rights in honor of Thomas Hand, UCI School of Medicine Class of 2014. The event is designed to bring together undergraduates and medical students in raising funds to support Floating Doctors. This is a great opportunity for biological sciences students to network and meet medical students in a fun and casual setting. The medical students will be available throughout the event to talk and answer any questions that undergraduates may have about their experience as undergraduates, how to be a successful applicant to medical schools, and what medical school is really like.

In addition, undergraduate medically related clubs and fraternities will be present for students interested in learning more about the on-campus medically related organizations. There will be prizes and raffles as well for students participating in the opportunity drawing or the arm wrestling tournament. Men and women are both encouraged to participate and there will be separate brackets according to gender as well as height or weight.
