Human Frontier Science Program (HFSP) award to Steve Gross

In recent events, Professor Steve Gross, department of Developmental and Cell Biology, received the Human Frontier Science Program (HFSP) award. HFSP is a program that provides funds for research in the life sciences. The award will be used to study a new form of innate immunity, involving histones on lipid droplets. Professor Gross was the lead principle investigator (PI) along with three other PIs involved, Albert Pol (University of Barcelona, Spain), Patricia Bozza (Brasil), Robert Parton, Robert Parton (Australia), with all four providing their complementary expertise.
